Which Japan currently has no user accounts, saved-itinerary service or contact form. Selected pages display clearly labelled Rentracks affiliate advertisements. Rentracks may receive browsing and device information to measure ad displays, clicks and qualifying orders. Which Japan may receive a commission. Google advertising signals remain disabled. The hosting provider may process essential infrastructure logs for security and reliability.
Email correspondence
If you contact Which Japan by email, the operator receives the sender address, message content and any information you choose to include. That information is used to respond, investigate correction or security reports, and keep the related editorial or operational record; it is not used to build an advertising profile. Email is handled outside this website and may also be processed by the sender's and recipient's email providers.
Site analytics
Which Japan automatically loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0VD7VF3TKN) on production website pages to understand aggregate site use and improve destination coverage. Google Analytics may process the page or URL visited, referrer, interactions, date and time, browser and device information, approximate location, and identifiers stored in analytics cookies. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled, and the operator does not use this information for advertising profiles.
Microsoft Clarity
Which Japan also uses Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation, to understand how visitors use production pages and improve their layout. Clarity may process page views, clicks, scrolls, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers to create heatmaps and session replays. Input fields are masked by Clarity. Which Japan does not add custom Clarity events containing input values or set a visitor identity. Clarity is not loaded on demo or research-preview builds, search pages, URLs containing a query string or fragment, or pages reached from such referrer URLs.
Microsoft Privacy StatementAnalytics controls and retention
The website does not currently provide an analytics consent switch. Visitors can restrict analytics through browser tracking protection, cookie controls or content-blocking tools. Google and Microsoft process analytics data under their respective terms and retention settings. The site does not signal that a visitor has granted consent to Clarity; Clarity's default regional behavior remains in place.
